Can you cut and style the hair extensions?

Yes, your hairdresser can style them for you. They should always give your hair extensions a "feathered look" (layered), never a blunt cut that way your human hair extensions will look more natural in your hair.

What is Remy hair?

Refers to human hair which has been harvested from root to end, with all of the cuticle going in the same direction. It is different from Virgin hair as it may be colored or permed, but has not had the cuticle removed. It is generally soft and silky, and is used in making higher quality wigs, human hair extensions, and hair systems.

Remy hair extensions require a careful selection process has strict controls, ensuring the cuticles are all going in the same direction, which means they cannot be manufactured in mass quantities.

What is the difference between Glamour human hair extensions and Glitz hair extensions?

Glamour Collections human hair extensions are the "premium range" (top of the range). They are manufactured using European Remy hair.    Glamour human hair extensions full packs weight 120grams.

There is a wider range of colours (14) and two different lengths 18" and 22" and is also available in single back rows and side pieces. 

The Glitz hair extensions are a very affordable alternative, manufactured with European Remy Hair.  Glitz human hair extensions weight 80 grams.  They are available only in full packs 18" in length.

What is the difference between human hair extensions and synthetic hair extensions?

Human hair extensions are higher quality and offer more versatility for styling. You can change the colour and perm them. You can use heat for styling: blow dryers, curling iron, flat iron, hot rollers, etc. Human hair extensions feel like your own hair, or better. 

With synthetic hair extensions you are limited, as you are unable to change the style or curl them. Any heat will frizz and damage the hair, including opening a hot oven, hot tubs, blow dryers, curling irons, hot rollers, wall furnaces, etc.  We DO NOT manufacture any synthetic or chinese hair extensions in our factory.

Beware that there are many types of human hair on the market, and many fakes, so you need to ensure that you are purchasing high quality human hair, some manufactures will even mix human hair with synthetic, we DO NOT manufacture any hair extensions with synthetics in them, we only use high quality human hair for our human hair extensions. What is the difference between Virgin Remy, European Remy and Indian Remy Hair?

Hair Type such as Indian Remy, European Remy, Virgin Remy refers to the quality of the hair.

Indian Remy Hair  has its own inherent advantages: it is simultaneously thin and strong. The hair comes from Indian widows, who are required to shave their heads, and then put through an osmosis process where the colour pigment is removed. Then over a period of several weeks the colour pigment is saturated back into the hair cuticles with over 54 colour options.

European Remy Hair is a popular form of hair. It has a straight and soft texture. Adequate care must be taken as the market is flooded with fakes.  As European Remy Hair is lighter in colour it doesn’t go through the same chemical process as Indian Remy Hair which means it is in better condition, and is used in making higher quality human hair extensions.

You will find many different grades of hair on the market such as A Grade,  AAA Grade, Double Drawn (Even Seven A Grade)
The grade of the hair refers not to the quality of the hair but to the fullness of the hair and the bottom of the extensions.  A Grade hair is very thin and spindly looking at the ends of the hair extensions, AAA grade is normal thickness at the ends for human hair extensions, giving your hair a nicely  layered look.

Can I use straightening irons on my human hair extensions?

Yes, as long as you use a salon quality heat protector spray.

Can my human hair extensions be coloured and permed (curled)?

Yes. Only a hairdresser should do this. They can be coloured as normal.  Only clip in hair extensions can be permed, and only by your hairdresser, they should use their lightest perming solution. Always use the testing strands supplied to test colour or perm before processing your hair extensions to ensure you have the desired result.

How often do I need to wash my human hair extensions?

Clip in human hair extensions will not require washing as often as your own hair. As a guide only, if you wear them daily they will need washing approximately every 3-4 weeks.  Micro Ring hair extensions you wash your hair as you would normally depending on how often your own hair needs washing. Note that the less you wash your hair extensions the longer they will last.

Tip:  For Micro ring hair extensions, use dry shampoo so that you do not need to wash your hair extensions as often, which will increase the longevity of your human hair extensions.

Will the clips or micro rings rust?

No.

Can I sleep in my extensions?

You cannot sleep in Clip in hair extensions. 

Micro ring extensions are permenant therefore you do sleep in them but you will need to loosely plait your hair before going to bed.

I haven’t looked after my hair extensions, how can I revive them?

Wash them as per care instructions on the pack using salon products only. Make sure you rinse shampoo out thoroughly. Gently work conditioner through the hair, and leave in for 20 minutes then wash out. Leave them on a towel to dry.

Will the hair extensions fall out?

No, not if you install them properly, as per the instructions. Clip in hair extensions, you can check them once they are in place by gently pushing down above each clip. You will be able to feel they are secured properly.

Micro Ring extensions have silica gel inside the metal ring to stop them slipping down the hair. so as long as they are clamped securely into place they won't fall out (you will also need to follow the care instructions).

Will you see the hair extensions in my hair?

No, not if installed properly, as per instructions. Leave enough hair over the top layer of extensions to cover them (finish approximately 3-5cm from the top of your head). 

TIP: When installing Micro ring hair extensions ensure that you do not put any micro ring hair extensions approx 2cm around your hairline.
